Spotify has just passed 1000 000 registered users. Impressive since I have not noticed any problems with stability. Wonder how many simultaneous users they got at peek hours.

I also wonder how many of these users who pays for premium accounts. I use Spotify at work almost all day and get like 1 or 2 commercial breaks a day. Thats to little to be a reason for paying 10 euros a month to get rid of. I guess they have a hard time finding advertisers, and if there are no one paying, the record companies wont get payed and then they will probably drop out of the service.

But hey, one million, still impressive.

It’s wonderfull to see all the loving people out there sending flowers to Mr and Mrs Wallis because of his staggering work today in court.

Around this time every year we have a big book sale here in Sweden. The major thing with this is the fact that the publishers prints loads of new copies of the books that sells the best and then sell them to a lower price in a big “sale”.

The thing now is that the physical book stores say that they sell less and less books in these sales and claims it’s the fact that the internet book stores allows pre-order of the books. Just like the physical book stores do. So the physical stores wanted the internet stores to stop with that. The internet shops didn’t want to do that… strange.

The first week of the #spectrial has ended. Got to say that the most interesting part is that the multi-billion media industry hasn’t mustered any layers with technical skill to understand what this is really about. It must be hard to ask a question you don’t really understand and get an answer that’s even more outside of there reach.
